AMALFI
Amalfi is situated on the south coast of Italy, in the province of Salerno and it extends for 5,7 square kilometres with more than 5.000 inhabitants. The road wraps the mountains giving a beautiful wiev of the coast and the sea. Its beautiful landscape makes it a UNESCO heritage.
AMALFI CATHEDRAL
The Amalfi cathedral is the main Catholic worship centre of the city of Amalfi. The Church was built in XIX century by Errico Alvino in Romanic-Baroque style.
According to a legend, St. Francis went to the Cathedral to venerate St.Andres relics which were in the city for two years.
If you visit the Cathedral you must see the Saint Andrew statue which is made of broze and it contains the Saint Andrew's rests .
THE CLOISTER OF PARADISE
The cloister of Paradise is part of the Cathedral of Amalfi. It was built between 1266 and 1268 by Archbishop Filippo Augustariccio. It is a cemetery for important citizens, connected to the archiepiscopal palace and formed by a four-sided portico with cross vaults, pointed arches, twin columns and interwoven arches of Moorish influence, from which the name derives.

THE PAPER MUSEUM
The Amalfi Paper's Museum, is a paper museum about the history and production of paper. The museum was one of the most important centers which produced paper made by hand.
